Crime Report: DWI Charges, Alleged Unlicensed Operation, and Marijuana Possession

A blotter of the latest arrests and incidents in the Fourth Precinct.

Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Precinct reported these arrests and incidents in Smithtown during Feb. 15-20:

Ashley Fielbrig, 23, of Holbrook was arrested Feb. 20 in Smithtown and charged with first offense DWI. Reports state Fielbrig was arrested on Route 25, Smithtown at 1:34 a.m. after allegedly operating his 2010 VW Jetta while intoxicated.

Tyresha Jackson, 46, of Ronkonkoma was arrested Feb. 20 in Smithtown and charged with first offense DWI. Reports state Jackson was arrested at the intersection of Mohegan Ave., and Uncas St., Smithtown at approximately 3:45 a.m. after allegedly operating his 2002 Suzuki while intoxicated.

Michael Swanson, 42, of Saint James was arrested Feb. 20 in Saint James and charged with first offense DWI. Reports state Swanson was arrested on Route 25 and Woodland Ave., St. James at approximately 11:05 p.m. after allegedly operating his 2006 Subaru while intoxicated.    

Eric Honicker, 29, of Smithtown was arrested Feb. 19 in Smithtown and charged with first offense DWI. Reports state Honicker was allegedly operating his 2005 Mercedes Benz westbound on Route 25, Smithtown while intoxicated

Michael Massa, 28, of Saint James was arrested Feb. 17 in Smithtown and charged with fifth degree criminal possession of marijuana. Reports state Massa was arrested on Florence Ave., Smithtown after allegedly smoking marijuana in his 2011 Nissan.   

Robert Lieberman, 30, of Saint James was arrested Feb. 17 in Saint James and charged with third degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Reports state Lieberman was arrested at Fourth St., and Jefferson Ave., St. James after allegedly operating his 2003 Lincoln Navigator without a license.    

None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed above. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  If any of the above charges have been acquitted, in order for removal from publication, one must email the writer and provide proof of dismissal.
