Crime Report: Man Enters Building and Steals Copper Pipes

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Precinct reported these arrests and incidents in Smithtown during Aug. 22-27.

Jessica Nadzan, 20, of Nesconset was arrested Aug. 27 in Smithtown and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Reports indicate Nadzan was arrested for the alleged possession of mylan, and methylphenidate on Veterans Memorial Highway.

Andre Machate, 40, of St. James was arrested Aug. 27 in Port Jefferson and charged with DWAI. Reports indicate Machate was arrested for allegedly operating a 2010 Ford northbound Main St. while intoxicated at approximately 11:10 p.m.

Christopher Ventrice, 27, of Holbrook was arrested Aug. 26 in Smithtown and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third burglary. Reports indicate Ventrice was arrested for alleged theft of copper pipes from a building. Reports also indicate he was in possession of oxycodone.

A Sixteen year old girl, of Shirley was arrested Aug. 26 in Smithtown and charged with petty larceny. Reports indicate the female allegedly stole merchandise from Walmart.

Victor Nigro, Jr., 32, of Ronkonkoma was arrested Aug. 23 in Smithtown and charged with second degree criminal impersonation. Reports indicate Nigro was arrested for the impersonation of a Suffolk County Police Officer.
