Crime Report: Multiple Controlled Substance Arrests
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Precinct reported these arrests and incidents in Smithtown during April 8 - 14.
Margaret Rooney, 28, of Middle Island, was arrested in Smithtown on April 12 at 8:50 p.m. on seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance charges. Reports state Rooney was arrested at the Smith Haven Mall seated in a 2004 Toyota Camry while in possession of prescription pills.
A 17-year-old Selden girl was arrested in Smithtown on April 11 at 10:52 p.m. on seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance charges. Reports state she was arrested at the fourth precinct for being in possession of prescription drugs.

William Pena, 34, of Smithtown, was arrested in Smithtown on April 10 on third-degree grand larceny charges. Suffolk County Police have no additional information on the arrest.
Ryan O'Toole, 23, of Hauppauge, was arrested in Smithtown on April 8 at 2:42 a.m. on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08-1 percent, first offense. Reports state O'Toole was arrested at the intersection of Route 25 and Landing Avenue.
