Crimes Nearby: Marijuana Possession, Selling Stolen Jewlery

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County police reported the following arrests.

Commack

Amanda Balchi, 31, of Medford, was arrested Oct. 23 in Commack and charged with DWI. Police said Balchi was involved in a car accident, striking a tree on the southeast corner of Burr Road and Ramita Lane while driving east in a 1995 Jeep at 1:21 a.m.

Ariana Labrocca, 42, of Huntington, was arrested Oct. 25 in Commack and charged with criminal mischief. According to police, at 7:15 p.m., Labrocca broke the glass case of a fire extinguisher inside the, located at 2231 Jericho Turnpike. She then reportedly sprayed the fire extinguisher in the hallway. At 8:10 p.m., Labrocca broke a plastic ash tray inside her room, police said.

John Prodromakis, 26, of Commack, was arrested Oct. 26 in Selden and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Prodromakis was reportedly observed at 4:40 p.m. in the parking lot of the, located at 255 Jericho Turnpike, with illegal drugs.

James Waterman, 20, of North Babylon, was arrested Oct. 28 in Commack and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Waterman was observed at 11 p.m. inside his vehicle, parked at the located at 2186 Jericho Turnpike.

Port Jefferson

Michael Bowen, 34, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested in Lake Ronkonkoma on Oct. 21 for reportedly breaking into a dwelling and stealing possessions including wallets, card keys, and credit cards and then using the credit cards for purchases. He was charged with three counts of fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property, two counts of fourth degree grand larceny, second degree burglary, fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property, and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Three Village

Maurice McCray, 18, of Centereach, was arrested Oct. 26 in Stony Brook and charged with first degree robbery with use of a dangerous instrument. McCray allegedly stabbed someone and stole the victim's iPhone. Matthew McCue, 23, of Selden, was also arrested and charged with first degree robbery during the incident.

A 17-year-old boy from South Setauket was arrested Oct. 26 at Ward Melville High School and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Anthony Santiesteban, 19, of Lake Grove, was arrested Oct. 23 at 8:15 p.m. at Raynor Park. Police said they saw him in a 1992 Nissan with marijuana in plain and open view.

Ahmer Salman, 21, of Hauppauge, was arrested Oct. 23 near the intersection of Nicolls Road and Route 347 at 8:55 p.m. He was in the driver's seat of a red Lexus when police reportedly spotted drugs. He was charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
