No Leads in High School West's Shooting Threat

District is continuing to investigate.

One week after discovering a threat to "shoot up the school" was written on a bathroom wall, the district has no leads on who wrote the threat.

"We're talking to students, the students are talking to us, and we're still investigating it ... but at this point in time there is no person of interest," said , assistant superintendent for instruction and administration for the .

Rianna said the school is continuing its modified lockdown, consisting of student backpack searches and funneling students to enter and exit select doors.

. Superintendent Edward Ehmann announced that the threat stated they were going to shoot up the school on March 9. Police said officers were sent to the school after the call of the alleged threat was received at 2:05 p.m. 

Ehmann announced that from school the day after the threat was discovered.
