Police: St. James Man Drove Drunk on Northern State Parkway

Matthew O'Reilly of St. James was arrested Monday night on DWI charges.

A St. James man was arrested Monday on DWI charges while driving on Northern State Parkway in Commack, according to New York State Police.

According to police, Matthew O'Reilly, 46, of St. James, was stopped driving eastbound on the roadway near Sunken Meadow Parkway in a brown Buick at 8:35 p.m. Police said O'Reilly failed sobriety tests and produced a breath sample of .19 percent BAC. 

O'Reilly was charged with DWI and traffic violations, according to police, and is set to appear in in Suffolk County First District Court on March 15.
