Two Credit Cards Stolen, Fist Fight Erupts in Smithtown

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Joey Mazzei, 20, of Commack was arrested in Smithtown Oct. 20 on one felony count of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Police said Mazzei had a stolen Macy's and Home Depot credit cards along with the personal identification of the rightful owner. 

A Nesconset man was arrested on Oct. 19 and faces charges of leaving the scene of an accident after causing property damage. The man was driving a 2003 Ford Expedition on Winners Circle in Nesconset when he crashed into and damaged a parked, commercial vehicle, according to police. The man did not report the accident and fled the scene. 

A Bethpage man was arrested on Oct. 18 in Smithtown and faces charges of third-degree assault with intent to cause injury. Police said the Bethpage resident punched another individual in the face repeatedly on Demont Street in Smithtown. The cause of the fight is unknown, according to police reports.
