Winter Storm Advisory - March 6th, 2013

things you should keep in mind:

As you may have heard, there's a pretty good chance of us getting hit with some snow tonight. We just want to give you some advice and let you know that we are here if you need us for any damage the storm may cause to your home Plumbing, Heating or Cooling.

So far this winter we have been lucky enough to avoid extremely cold temperatures, as well as any excessive amounts of snow. With this weather warming, some things you should keep in mind:

  • Heating check - If you haven't had your yearly heating check, now is the time. We all have experienced equipment failing when we need it the most, and having no heat during extreme cold is a horrible feeling. Take advantage of our home heating check and guarantee that your system will provide heat for the rest of the season.
  • Sump Pumps - As we saw with Storm Sandy, extreme weather can knock out power - especially heavy amounts of snow. Beyond just making sure your sump pump works properly, you may want to invest in a new water powered sump pump that will stay operational even when the power is out.
  • Whole Home Backup Generator - If you want to guarantee power even through the most brutal storms, upgrade your home with a Whole Home Backup Generator to keep your home powered even when the electricity gets knocked out.

Be sure to send this to any friends or family you think may be helped by this information as well.
