Board of Education to Discuss School Report Card Results

Meeting is at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the New York Avenue administrative building.

Smithtown school officials  will give a presentation on the latest result of how Smithtown Central School District measures up on Tuesday night. 

Smithtown Board of Education will host is second monthly meeting at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the New York Avenue administrative building. It will be the board meeting with the district's new interim superintendent Judith Elias. 

School officials plan to offer a presentation on the the School Report Card and Assessment results, which provides an overview on how Smithtown Central School District and its students are performing. 

There will also be updates presented by the Pre-School Special Education and Special Education committees.

There is a public portion of the school board meeting where districts residents may stand up and address concerns to the Board of Education. Each speaker receives three minutes and may ask questions.
