East Senior Receives Custom Computer Specialists Scholarship
Jennifer Uliano of East was one of 15 students to receive the 2011 Recipient of Customer Computer Specialists' Right Start Scholarship.
East’s Jennifer Uliano is one of 15 high school seniors from throughout the northeast to receive the 2011 Custom Computer Specialists Right Start Scholarship.
According to a Custom Computer Specialists statement, the $1,000 scholarship was given to students with winning essays answering the question, “Describe how technology has impacted your education so far and how you believe it will impact the future of K-12 education.”
Uliano’s essay was based on how the evolution of computer equipment opened her eyes to how computers and education can work hand-in-hand to promote better educational outcomes.

Uliano will be attending Hofstra University in the fall.
