The Great Hollow Middle School Mock Trial Team defeated Westbury, Patchogue-Medford and Hempstead in the 29th Annual Mock Trial Tournament held at Dowling College.
teacher Richard Restifo headed the teams. The two defense teams defeated Westbury and Patchogue-Medford on overall team performance and the two Plaintiff teams split their trials, defeating Hempstead and losing to Merrick, respectively. The legal battles in all four trials lasted almost two hours.
The Western Suffolk BOCES sponsored event brought districts from all over Long Island.
