Photo of the Day: East Students Make 55 Thanksgiving Meals for Charity
Leftover food was donated to the Smithtown Emergency Food Pantry and Island Harvest.
In the spirit of giving, East’s Interact club prepared 55 dinners for those less fortunate and donated extra food raised in the annual Thanksgiving Food Drive to the Smithtown Emergency Food Pantry and Island harvest.
Social Studies students donated items to make the meals, as well as money to buy the turkeys.
