Photo of the Day: West Leadership Students Win at Youth Summit
West students win big in the same category at the Dowling College sponsored event for two straight years.
Smithtown High School West Leadership students came home with a win in the Long Island Youth Summit, hosted by Dowling College.
The students were broken down into two groups: "Social Networking" and “De-Fragmentation of Long Island." The students in the “De-Fragmentation of Long Island" group won in the Governance and Activism category, the second year in a row West Leadership has won this category.
With the win the students won $2,500 vouchers to take classes at the college.

“De-Fragmentation of Long Island” students included Alex Bresalier, Stephen Nichols, Kimberly Waldvogle and Elizabeth Sullivan. “Social Networking” students included Lauren Caravella, Jacqueline Falk, Jasmine Itara, Josephine Stublick, Kaitlyn Rocca.
