Smithtown's Board of Ed to Hear Possible Policy Revisions Tuesday

The possible revisions involve the budget and purchasing.

The Board of Education for the Smithtown Central School District will hold first readings that could revise several policies and regulations and introduce one new policy during Tuesday's regular meeting.

During Superintendent Anthony Annunziato's report, revisions to the following policies will be read:

  • Board of Education Policy 6100: Annual Budget
  • Board of Education Policy 6110: Budget Planning
  • Board of Education Policy 6700: Purchasing

The following regulations to be revised will be read:

Anunziato will give a first reading to the board that could possibly introduce Board of Education Policy 4311.1: Display of the Flag.
