Smithtown Social: West Bulls Gear Up for Newfield
Students and parents have already started talking up this Friday's football game on social media, including Twitter and Facebook.
Smithtown West varsity football fans are excited about the team's opening win and are ready to charge full speed into Week 2.
Smithtown West Bulls beat West Islip, 50-20 on Sept. 12 to win the season opener in Suffolk County's Division II. Senior Logan Greco led the team's success by scoring three touchdowns in the first half and running for 161 yards.
West students and parents were quick to take the victory celebration to social media, posting highlights on Twitter and Facebook. There are dozens of messages to indicate they are looking forward to the week ahead.
West Bulls will host Newfield this Friday at 6 p.m. under the lights. Newfield also won its season opener against West Babylon by score of 46-6. The match up will prove an early clash of two football titans.
