Olympic Specials, Events in Smithtown

Local places offer specials in time for the Summer Olympics.

With the Summer Olympics Opening Cermonies just over 24 hours away, some places around Smithtown will be showing their international pride with specials and game showings.

, located on Middle Country Road in St. James, plans on playing the Olympic games on the TVs they have above the bar, said owner Julio Caro. They will also be having house wine and beer specials on Tuesday and Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. throughout the Olympics.

, on Main Street in Smithtown will be celebrating the Olympic opening ceremonies tomorrow on the big screens in the newer part of the pub, said manager William Miller. Also on opening day, there will be half-priced drinks and appetizers. Miller said that all events throughout the games will be shown on their TVs as well.
