Don't Miss This Weekend: Smithtown Festival Day and 3rd Annual Mike's Hike

Here's what's happening this weekend in and around Smithtown.

Kids Night Out
Looking for a fun thing to do with your friends on a Friday night? Head to the Mills Pond House for a fun night of art making.  Have a fantastic Friday night while parents get a free night to themselves as well.  

Students will talk about the art, be given materials and a prompt, but will be free to go wherever their imgination takes them with their individual artwork.

Live Music
Enjoy dinner and live music at Perfecto Mundo this weekend.  7 p.m.-10 p.m. hear Don Olsen on acoustic guitar.

Judy's Run/Walk for Stroke Prevention
6th Annual 5K run and one mile fun walk. Rain or shine. Sunken Meadow Park, Saturday, 9 a.m.

Three Village Historical Society Annual Yard Sale
Saturday, 9 a.m. Free and open to the public. Proceeds benefit the society's educational programs and offerings. Donations welcome.  

Smithtown West Craft Fair
Smithtown HS West DECA will host its 1st Annual Spring Craft Fair on Saturday  from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. rain or shine in the Main Gym. Admission is free. Come shop a unique collection of crafts and gifts from local vendors. There will be face painting and concessions for the kids.

Family Fun Day
Raffles with amazing baskets, games, kids crafts, entertainment and face painting, tag sale, lunch food and baked goods. Outdoors, beside the St. James Episcopal Church. Proceeds go to benefit Smithtown Nursery School, a non-profit school dedicated to educating and nurturing children ages 2 through 5. For more information visit www.smithtownnurseryschool.com

Smithtown Children's Foundation Hosts 3rd Annual Mike's Hike
Honoring  the memory of Mike Denaro, beloved Accompsett El 2nd grade teacher, raising money for a science scholarship for two worthy Smithtown Seniors. Sunday, 8 a.m.

Smithtown Festival Day 2013
This fun filled day is this Sunday, on Main Street Smithtown and will feature hundreds of vendors, a variety of food from local restaurants and live entertainment throughout the day.

The event, run by the Greater Smithtown Chamber of Commerce, will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
