Jared Groneman, Neighbor

I started out life in this town in 1979.  I grew up here, went through the Smithtown public school system, played on my block with friends, and left Long Island to attend Sacred Heart University.  I graduated and stayed in CT up until last year.  I find myself back in my home town trying to reconcile the differences between the Smithtown that was and the Smithtown I'm in now.  It's changed a lot, and so have I.

I love technology, digital media, film, photography, science, and anything else interesting I can get my hands on.  And yes, the occasional episode of Dr. Who, Firefly, or Sherlock.  TED Talks are one of the best things going, along with anything Neil deGrasse Tyson does.
