John William Garand, Neighbor

John Wm Garand is a Hauppauge resident living with his partner, now spouse, René Meyer in their home they have dubbed Zwerglipatch.

John was a professional puppeteer for twenty-five years working in various venues such as The Smithsonian Institution, Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall, and Macy's at Herald Square. He performed his one-man show, Peopplets: Puppets, Poets, and People, for the City of New York's Department of Recreation. With René, he established The Zwerglipatch Puppets which perform for the enjoyment of their neighbors in Hauppauge.

John is currently the Office Manager of Long Island Indicator Service.

John is a native of New Hampshire. Before Hauppauge, he lived in Manhattan for thirty years.
